Ground fertilizer for aquarium plants with a stock of all necessary nutrients for growth.
Plant Substrate gives a strong effect on growth of the plants, especially rosette plants - crypts, echinodorus and other species that prefer to take nutrients from the ground. Designed by Sergey Yermolayev.
Plant Substrate contains nutritional reserves of nitrogen, calcium, iron, magnesium, potassium, phosphorus and trace elements. Has a favourable for the roots of aquatic plants pH 6.5-6.8.
Plant Substrate - ground fertilizer of constant action. It does not expire. In the first months of action Plant Substrate actively gives nutrients to plants in the aquarium. Later its porous component absorbs excess nutrients from the water depriving algae of its nutrient supply and providing nutrient to aquarium plants through the roots. Light and porous structure of the Plant Substrate prevents corruption of soil and makes good conditions for the natural bacteria which improves biofiltration in the aquarium.

The Plant Substrate is necessary to put a layer of 1-2 cm on the bottom of the aquarium in places where the plants will grow. Then the substrate should be covered by the main soil – neutral gravel or sand with layer of 2-5 cm. Next, carefully fill the aquarium with water and start planting. In the first two weeks after the aquarium setup, it is desirable to make two 30-50% water changes a week.
