Efficient agent for decreasing carbonate hardness (КН) and рН of water in aquarium.
Many tropical fishes feel better in water with carbonate hardness less then 5° dKH (German degree of hardness) and pH lower 7.5. Moreover, aquatic plants better grow in such conditions. Regular usage of pH/KH minus helps to keep optimal рН and carbonate hardness.
Does not increase concentration of phosphate in aquarium water.
Precautions:
Contains acid. Keep away from children. Do not take internally. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. In case of eye or skin contact rinse immediately with plenty of water.
Storage:
3 years at temperature below 30 °С
To decrease pH and carbonate hardness add no more then 25 mL of AQUAYER pH/KH minus for every 100 liters of aquarium water. Repeat procedure every 2-3 days until desired carbonate hardness is achieved. Each dosing will cause carbonate hardness decrease for approximately 2° dKH. During the procedure water aeration must be turned on. CO2 injection must be turned off. Regularly check carbonate hardness with AQUAYER test pH+KH to avoid its decrease lower then 2° dKH and dangerous pH drop.
Long-term regulation of carbonate hardness and pH. Add 5 mL of AQUAYER pH/KH minus for every 100 liters daily. Such dosings increase carbonate hardness approximately for 0.4° dKH every day. During this procedure CO2 injection can be turned on.
